When you pick up an egg in Pokemon Go, it is stuck in your inventory until the egg is incubated and hatched. It can take a long time to incubate a full inventory of nine eggs using only the single unlimited-use incubator you're given.

The key to using eggs effectively in Pokemon Go is to get 2km eggs out of your inventory as quickly as possible, so that you have a chance to fill those slots with 5km or 10km eggs, instead. The 2km eggs might all give you common Pokemon that you couldn't care less about, which is precisely why you need them out of your inventory.

Get The Best Eggs By Finding The Right PokeStops

The Silph Road's study into PokeStops and egg quality was conducted by 26 players, each of whom hatched at least 50 eggs from a single PokeStop. Data on 1,841 eggs was recorded in total.

According to Silph Research, the researchers "are confident" that all PokeStops do not award eggs based on the same distribution model. In other words, one PokeStop may consistently be more likely to drop 5km eggs than another PokeStop, and you can determine which PokeStops they are through observation.

The difference in egg quality between PokeStops could also become quite apparent once you're actively looking for it.

Regardless, this research paints a grim picture for Pokemon Go players in rural areas, who may not have many PokeStops to choose from. If their PokeStops tend to drop fewer 5km or 10km eggs than others, they may be out of luck.

A good way to earn XP quickly is to use what is known as the Pidgey Exploit. To evolve a Pidgey into a Pidgeotto you only require 12 Pidgey Candy which is much less than most Pokemon require to evolve and for your trouble you will receive 500 XP. Thankfully too, Pidgey's are easy to find in the wild so it is fairly easy to catch a mass of Pidgey's, evolve them and earn lots of XP without doing much work. Catching a single Pidgey will gain you 3 Pidgey Candy so you can evolve a Pidgey by catching 4 of them. You can also transfer unused Pidgey's to the Professor to earn 1 extra Pidgey Candy.

As well as using a Pidgey to gain XP quickly, you can also do this with Caterpie and Weedle. So if you come across any of these they make a great catch for use later on when you have enough candle to evolve them.

Remember too that you can double the amount of XP you receive if you have a Lucky Egg activated at the time you evolve your Pokemon. What I tend to do is to use a Lucky Egg and then evolve as many Pokemon as possible to maximise the effects of the Lucky Egg as they are not easy to come by unless you buy them in the shop and they last only 30 minutes.

As the most popular game worldwide on Google Play, Pokemon Go stole the hearts of gamers when it first launched. After the tracking tool released, this new feature quickly attractted gamers' attentions.

The Nearby Tracking Feature Expanded Release

This new version of the feature debuted a while back and was only available in San Francisco, California. This was done to test the waters and make adjustments depending on the feedback the company received. Now that the feature is spreading out to more regions, Niantic will continue to listen to its users in a continued effort to improve the game.

Prior to this expanded release, the feature was rolling out only to states west of the Mississippi, as well as certain regions in Canada, and all of Australia. This push was followed by an update from Niantic on the current state of Pokemon Go, as well as what’s in store for its future.

"We will be expanding the Nearby Pokemon feature to the rest of the continental United States and large parts of Europe. We will continue to review the feedback submitted on our official social media accounts and in other channels and make changes if necessary."

If you don’t, you can click the various Pokestops around you until you see the picture that matches the one in the tracker. At that point, you’ve just got to go to the stop. If you haven’t been there before, keep an eye out for the thing you saw in the picture. This game is all about exploration, after all.

When you click on a monster in the nearby page, it will bring up an enlargement of the Pokestop, with some footprints beneath. Click the footprints to start tracking the monster: the map will zoom out to show you precisely where to find it, and it will now be marked by a little pink icon on your map. And presto: there’s your Pokemon. It certainly takes the guesswork out of the system, and you can just walk over to go catch the thing. Go quick before it despawns.

This is indicative that Ditto transformation is much stronger since it does not lessen its CP.

When Ditto meets another Ditto in battle, your Pokemon will stay as it is. It may also take longer time for the battle to end.
